This is my personal favorite idea: Scenic Backdrops.After all, what better addition to this fantastic toy line than a diorama fans can display their figures within and pose them in such a way as to re-enact some of the vintage cross cell art from the original 80's toy line packaging...
I've produced a rough mock up of this idea to see if the visual illusion would work between the graphic artwork and the Action figures. As you can see, it does - very well.

Really had fun with this project, as you can see in the picture above I've tried to make the water splashes more three dimensional in various ways, it's a feature I'm currently exploring in more detail for future designs. Even went as far as to add the hook hole detail to this backdrop as a nostalgic nod to the original 80's packaging. If this were to be mass produced this feature would give the fans the option to either pop it out or leave it in to acknowledge the tastes of those vintage mint on card collectors.
My ultimate vision for this would be to have the original cross cell art updated by contemporary illustrators in much the same way that these action figures have had their look updated from the original 80's Masters of the Universe toy line.
