This is a really good example of a cut-out model which you would regularly find on the back of cereal boxes. This particular one was part of a set of 4 promoting Star Trek the Motion Picture way back in 1979, when the price of a 24 pack of Weetabix was only 36p.!

Print it out on some good quality paper, stick it to the printed side of a cereal box, (for that authentic look), then simply crease along the red dotted lines, cut it out and slot / glue it together.
don't forget to save the instructions...
